WEBSITE DESIGNER/BUILDER ---------------------------------------------------------------
Responsible to: Managing Director
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Based in Enfield with an option for some days from home
Salary: TBD
Responsibilities:
- Building HTML/CSS templates based on concept designs that exist as PSD files
- Building of websites based on templates developed using HTML/CSS
- Building and updating websites from within a content management system
- Building html e-newsletters from designs and templates provided
- Attending meetings with clients where required
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years commercial experience in the development of websites
- Highly proficient at hand-coding in advanced CSS and XHTML with an excellent grasp of web standards and accessibility issues
- Experience of Photoshop and Flash
- A good eye for design and the ability to take a concept design and extend and apply it to a whole website
- Ability to use your own initiative to find solutions and solve problems as you work
- Ability to work as a part of a team, sharing knowledge / resources and ideas
- Ability to use CMS system to complete the build of websites
- Ability to design, build and send email marketing campaigns
