Google Enters Browser Market With Chrome

Google recently entered the web browser market launching their own web browser called Chrome.   Chrome is taking on the key players in the browser market,  namely Microsoft's Internet Explorer,  Mozilla's Firefox and Apple's Safari. Whilst we were initially wary about having to ensure all our sites are compliant with yet another browser, our testing of Chrome so far has been extremely positive. The browser appears to be highly standards compliant and so pages present almost identically to Firefox and Safari. It is also very fast at both page loading and running the more complicated javascript heavy pages that are becoming more and more common on the web today.

If you want to try out Chrome for yourself and check your website displays properly you can download it from http://www.google.com/chrome.  All future Webfuel developments will of course support this browser platform along with all other major browsers.
