Technology and SLA's
Webfuel place the highest priority on ensuring the performance and security of our hosting service. We have therefore invested in leading edge technology and have a range of SLAs in place to guarantee peace of mind for ourselves and our clients.
- The server is monitored by a remote data centre every five minutes and will be investigated within fifteen minutes of a service interruption being detected, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- If server hardware replacements are required, these are guaranteed to be in place within one hour of identification of the problem.
- The server sits behind a dedicated Cisco hardware firewall, protecting it from unauthorised intrusion, and common web based attacks (e.g. denial of service – DoS).
- Connectivity to the internet is provided by a range of network providers, and connectivity uptime (from the internet to the server port) is guaranteed to exceed 99.9% (excluding scheduled maintenance). In practice connectivity failures between the server and the internet are incredibly rare.
